Determination of Cordycepin Using a Stability-Indicating Greener HPTLC Method

A wide range of analytical techniques have been reported to determine cordycepin (CDN) in various sample matrices. Nevertheless, greener approaches for CDN estimation are scarce the literature. As a result, this study was designed develop and validate stability-indicating “high-performance thin-layer chromatography (HPTLC)” technique determination laboratory-developed formulation. The eluent system detection ethanol–water (75:25 v/v). At wavelength 262 nm, measured. greenness scale proposed technology derived using “Analytical GREENness (AGREE)” approach. HPTLC assay linear analysis 50–1000 ng/band with coefficient 0.9978. simple, rapid, accurate, precise, robust, selective, stability-indicating, greener. AGREE score calculated be 0.79 calculator. current protocol able detect degradation products under stress conditions, indicating its stability-indication characteristics selectivity. quantitative indicated that had outstanding characteristics. amount formulation determined 98.84%, suitability formulations.
